Twelve Days of Christmas Projects - Day 7 - Leg lamp card
Welcome!
Today's Christmas card featuring the leg lamp from one of our favourite holiday movies. Our family loves A Christmas Story. The hubs and I even saw it live on stage last year.
The leg lamp is a png file that I found online. I used the print and cut feature with my Explore. The snowy window is from the Winter Woodland Cricut cartridge.

Love Banner
Here is the banner I have been working on for our fireplace. I love how it turned out!
I used all old paper that I had on hand and used a few different Cricut cartridges. The font is Winter Woodland. Most things are cut from Sweethearts. The backgrounds are from Gypsy Wanderings. The stamps are by Martha Stewart.
The gems and fabric hearts, I bought at the Dollar store. This entire decor element came to a whopping total of $2.
I used a hot glue gun to add ribbon hangers to these heart ornaments. The twigs are spray painted red.
I am entering this banner at Fantabulous Cricut Their challenge this week is to "put a heart on it".
The next challenge site that I am entering at is More than Favors. Their challenge this week is "love is in the air.
I am also entering this at Frosted Designs. They would like you to use ribbon or twine this week. I loved poking through my ribbon stash for this project!
Paper Playtime is the next challenge I followed their challenge is hearts/love.
At Decorate to Celebrate they are challenging crafters to create something for a Valentine's party.
Thanks for looking! Have a "love"ly day!

Sympathy cards
Santa brought me some distress inks for Christmas. I decided to play with them and make some cards at the same time. My goal was to create the effect of frost on a window using the inks. Yes, I should mention that it is freezing here in Winnipeg today and there is frost on many windows!
I am having fun playing and creating inside the warm house!
I am entering these cards for the challenge at Fantabulous Cricut. Their challenge this week is to create a project with a snowman or snowflake. Please click the link to play along.

Snow much fun at the toboggan run
Our family loves to sled/toboggan! I think we prefer toboggan runs to just sledding down a hill. You can go very fast and very far.

Of course there isn't a toboggan run on a Cricut cartridge so I made my own using the George cartridge.

This layout just needs one more thing, other than the photos. A friend just bought the Winter Frolic cartridge and I can't wait to cut out the cute little sledding girl and add her sliding down.
