“Yappy” Easter
I am continuing with my Covid-19 challenge of using my supplies on hand. There is a new dimension to this stay at home challenge - I do not print photos at home. (I live in walking distance to a Costco.) I even reprint my photos as I am scrapbooking to suit my needs. These days, I am just scrapping what I already have and being happy with it. Progress not perfection, I guess. The chick printed paper is from Close to my Heart.
Wishing you all a wonderful Easter weekend at home!

Canada Day layout
Where did I get inspiration for this layout???? Well, my dog’s bandanna, of course! That’s what so great about creating with Design Space is that you can cut anything you dream up, even the dog’s bandanna.
Happy Canada Day!

Happy Paw-ther’s Day from the dog
Yep, I made a Father’s Day card from the dog. The sentiment inside will be “Thanks for picking up my poop.”
All of these cuts are in Design Space and all are part of my Access Subscription. I used text to write the sentiment though.

Pup-sicle
Summer is coming, right??? I’m longing for the warm days on the deck when I see these pictures.
Last summer, a friend had a dog rescue fundraiser by selling pup-sicles. Her rescue is called Central Paws Dog Rescue (Winnipeg, MB) and they made popsicles that were meat or yogurt based. Chloe loved them and I hope they sell them again!
Most of the paper on this layout is older Bella Blvd. The paw print paper is by Recollections. I bought a grab bag of paper and scored lots of Bella Blvd! I have loved using it. The patterns are bright, bold and versatile.
I’m still in awe of Doodlebug Design Inc taking on the production and sales of Bella Blvd while the owner and creative director recovers from a brain tumour.
The scrapbooking community is amazing!

Day Two of Christmas Projects - Dogs and Santa
Our family is so in love with our rescue dog Chloe. She is 2 and a half years old and is so smart and loving. Here is a card for fellow dog lovers like us.
To create this window scene, I welded the curtains and dogs onto a rectangle.
Coming up tomorrow... a punny Christmas card. Be sure to pop in for Day Three of Christmas Projects.

Puppy's first birthday banner - turned into a layout
I used my Cricut Explore to create a small puppy banner to celebrate Chloe's first birthday. I made it small enough that she couldn't jump up and chew on it AND small enough I could use it to scrapbook the photos!
I love this paper line by Becky Fleck called Cooper and Friends.

Can you say that title 3 times fast?
We just loved having a dog last Christmas. I think this year, the kids are most excited about our gift to the dog!

Valentines layout - Puppy Love
Happy President's Day / Family Day or Louis Riel Day depending where you live. It is a very balmy February day in Manitoba. It is actually raining here right now which is not very common in February. Anyways, it is a perfect long weekend to catch up on some scrapbooking! Here is a Valentines Day layout from Valentines Day last week! Can you believe it?
This was a quick layout to make. I used Project Life cards from the Honey Edition for my journaling. (Still attempting incorporating pocket pages.)
It is also a GREAT day to shop at Cricut.com. They have free shipping to the US AND Canada with the coupon code LOVESHIP. I have included the link down below with the new information about the Cricut Access Subscription. I am planning to upgrade my account and will report back!
Have a wonderful holiday!

Day five of Christmas Projects - vinyl ornament
Good day! I knew I wanted to made a puppy's first Christmas ornament for our 7 month old Chloe. I'm posting this project as she is recovering from her spay surgery on Monday. Poor girl has had a tough week with some side effects.
This ornament only took minutes to make and I love it! You will find me today cuddling our puppy.

Twelve Days of Christmas Projects 2016!!!
Ok. Let's start off with an excuse/confession. I really have not been scrapping this fall at all. This is the reason.
She loves to eat paper just as much as I like to create cards and layouts. She treats my scrap room as an all you can chew buffet! B-U-T, I still want to have a Twelve Days of Christmas Projects series on my blog. Am I crazy?
Probably. Please stop back in tomorrow for Project #1!!!

Puppy Pictures
I haven't been crafting for awhile but I have a wonderful excuse! Our family has adopted a puppy! She is 11 weeks old and her breed is mixed. We named her Chloe and our family is completely smitten. Her mother was brought in to a local rescue in labour. Her puppies, including Chloe, were born later that day. My craftroom is gathering dust this week as I am busy with her training.
Here are some shameless puppy pics.
The other thing I have realised this week is that I need puppy themed scrapbooking supplies and lots of them as we have been snapping photos like crazy!
My son thinks we have upped our game when it comes to family photos with this adorable new addition.
