Crop and Create layout

This is the first info I had read about Crop and Create coming to my city.

I knew I wanted to attend as soon as I heard about the amazing scrapbooking ladies who were coming. I was fortunate to be able to work at this event at the marketplace but that didn't stop me from using the photobooth (so much fun!) and meeting some of the presenters.

I honestly got so much inspiration just being there. I loved talking to everyone and hearing what they were working on!

I had the idea to sell a kit for photos taken during the event. My boss chose this fab paper from Pebbles and chose all the embellies and I got to work designing the logo on my Gypsy.

Leica Forrest is absolutely beautiful (and talented). I'm happy that I have this photo of the two of us. The group shot was nipped from facebook.

Crop and Create - our booth

I must confess, even though my blog name is The Cropping Canuck, I have never been to a huge organized crop like Crop and Create.

I was fortunate enough to work this event last weekend with my LSS. It was soo much fun! Packing up the store and transporting it was a lot of work though.

We quickly set up in about two hours.

Here is some inspiration by Hazelle and Nicole. It was wonderful to create with "hot off the presses" new product.

The crop room.

Earlier in the week, we used a Yudu machine to screenprint matching shirts for our staff. I have used a Yudu before when I demoed them at Ms. This was my first time burning the emulsion screen though. I now understand the addiction to the Yudu! I love my shirt and have even washed it.

Our booth featured a free make 'n take. Everyone made this flip card using a Big Shot and Sizzix Movers and Shapers L Die-Card - Circle Flip-Its.

The tickets were cut with the Sizzix Sizzlit Decorative strip die - Ticket Strip.

The rosettes were cut and scored with the Sizzix Sizzlit Decorative strip die - Paper Rosette.
