Twelve Days of Christmas Projects Day 1 - Hot Cocoa Slider

Welcome to my twelve days of Christmas projects! I wanted to start off featuring hot cocoa sliders. I made these with an svg from myscrapchick. I love making these for my kids to give out at school to secretaries, teacher's aides or even friends.

Here are hot cocoa sliders that I have made in previous years! Enjoy and be sure to join me tomorrow for Day 2 of Christmas Projects!

Day 5 of Holiday inspiration - Hot Cocoa gift

Welcome to my day 5 of holiday projects. I'm trying to get my crafty and bloggy mojo back.
My kids like to give out little gifts to other members of their school staff. You know, the physical education teacher, school secretary, music teacher as well as their homeroom teachers.
So, we started putting together little hot chocolate packs a few years ago.

I think I am most proud of this years though because I designed it on my Gypsy. The only cartridge I used was George and Basic shapes. I manipulated the shapes until it formed a snowman hat.

Once you cut out your shape, you will need to score it in three places. I ran a line of adhesive along the bottom to keep the packet in. To open the gift, you untie the ribbon.

I think this is a quick, cute gift to make! Snow much fun!
Yay! I blogged five days in a row!

Be sure to visit again on Monday where I will have my 6th day of holiday inspiration!

Hot cocoa sliders

I love making these slider cards! I find them fun to make and they make a perfect little gift for anyone on your list. I usually make some with my children and they give them out to various staff at their schools. To get the cocoa, you just pull the ribbon and it slides out.

My stamped sentiments are both from Scrappy Moms. My rosette and pine tree are from the Ribbons and Rosettes Cricut cartridge.

Hot chocolate slider

I have wanted to make one of these slider cards ever since I saw a tutorial on the Pink Stamper website. I bought a box of hot chocolate last year but when I opened it up the packets were way too narrow so ended up making something different.

I love how the hot chocolate slides out with a pull of the ribbon!

I am entering this at Fantabulous Cricut this week. Their challenge is to use the colour green and a circle. Done and done. My sentiment is computer generated and pop dotted. All the cuts are from Gypsy Wanderings but I hid the steam and heart from the mug.

Now I have 9 packets to do this to!
