Day Six of Christmas Projects - Polar bear Z fold card
I love making z fold cards. It's funny how one little extra fold can add so much dimension! Yet, they are also flat to mail out and use no more paper than a typical card.
This super cute polar bear cut is from the Cricut cartridge called Warm Wishes and Marshmallow Kisses. The stamped sentiment is from Scrappy Moms Stamps but I don't think this company is making stamps anymore.

Thanks for joining me.

Twelve Days of Christmas Projects - Day 3 Mary and Joseph
I have always wanted to make some Mary, Joseph and Baby Jesus cards. I just love this image from the Teresa Collins Cricut cartridge called December 25th.
See you tomorrow for Day Four of Christmas Projects!

Twelve days of Christmas Projects - Day 1
WELCOME!
Thanks for stopping in. Today is day 1 of Christmas projects that I will be featuring. I was thrilled when Cricut added the print and cut feature on the Explore. This penguin was one of my first things I printed. He is from the Santa's Village Imagine Cartridge.
See you tomorrow!

Christmas card to mass produce - day 11
Yikes, I guess I fell off the blogging Earth last week. It was just one of "those" weeks but I'm happy to say this week is already much better.
The hubs asked me to make 30 cards for him to give to co-workers. I wanted to make a card that could apply to anyone one celebrating this holiday season. (Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa etc.) It also had to be easy to create multiples of. Fussy Cricut cuts were definitely out of the question.
I love how all 30 turned out!

Twelve days of Christmas cards - day 8
Eight cards done! I think this is my favorite so far.
I took this photo last Christmas of my two kids admiring the tree. I used Cricut Craft Room to make a polaroid frame.
Thanks for stopping in!

Zumba Santa Christmas card - day 7
I had to make a card for my fitness instructor! I have been doing tons of zumba classes this fall and honestly had wanted to make a card like this last Christmas but ran out of time.
This Santa is from the Jolly Holidays Cricut cartridge but I changed him up a bit to look like he is working out. Originally, he was the beach Santa from the cartridge.
Now I am off to zumba!
Thank you for popping by!

Despicable Me Christmas card - day 4
Today's Christmas card is inspired by a movie. I'm thinking that Santa's elves are a lot like the minions from Despicable Me.
Thanks for stopping in!
Tomorrow's cards are created using the free cut files from Cricut Craft Room.

Twelve days of Christmas projects - day 1
I love making Christmas cards! Every year I say to myself that I should cut down on my card list, make one card design or *shudder* just buy cards. Well, I guess this won't be the year.
Without further ado, my first Christmas card - heavily inspired by Pinterest.
Here is the link for the tutorial I followed.
BeeCee Creativity
I am entering this card for a challenge at Scrappy Moms Stamps. They are challenging card-makers to make a card for military serving overseas. This is something I have never done before but always thought it would be something great to do. I have been searching up a Canadian address to send this card to. This is what I found:
Any Canadian Forces Member
Op Attention
Kabul
PO Box 5140 Stn Forces
Belleville ON
K8N 5W6
Now that I found my address, I realize, I missed the deadline for Christmas which was November 15th. Well, now I know exactly how to go about this next year and I can always send a "thank you for your service" card.
Please stop by tomorrow for day 2. My card is inspired by a television show. (?)

Day 11 of Holiday inspiration - Christmas card
Welcome to day 11!
My kids have dug out my bin of felt given to me by my Grandma. They have been stitching up pieces of it making wallets and other items. (There are bits of thread and felt all over my house.) I tried to make a card featuring one of my daughter's creations but she wouldn't let me. Sooo, I made this instead.
The only Cricut cuts I have on this card are the moon and Santa's boots which are actually rain boots from Freshly Picked.

Day 5 of Holiday inspiration - Hot Cocoa gift
Welcome to my day 5 of holiday projects. I'm trying to get my crafty and bloggy mojo back.
My kids like to give out little gifts to other members of their school staff. You know, the physical education teacher, school secretary, music teacher as well as their homeroom teachers.
So, we started putting together little hot chocolate packs a few years ago.
I think I am most proud of this years though because I designed it on my Gypsy. The only cartridge I used was George and Basic shapes. I manipulated the shapes until it formed a snowman hat.
Once you cut out your shape, you will need to score it in three places. I ran a line of adhesive along the bottom to keep the packet in. To open the gift, you untie the ribbon.
I think this is a quick, cute gift to make! Snow much fun!
Yay! I blogged five days in a row!
Be sure to visit again on Monday where I will have my 6th day of holiday inspiration!

Day 4 of Holiday inspiration - Santa card
There is a story behind this card. Our city has had its first IKEA store built. The store opened on last Tuesday with much fanfare, advertising and hype. It seems that everyone here is talking about it and shopping at the store. So, of course, I needed to put it on a Christmas card. I hope people see the humour in it.
This card was an easy one. You know, clean lines, like IKEA.
Santa is from the Jolly Holidays Cricut cartridge. The font is from Opposites Attract. The sentiment is by Scrappy Moms Stamps.

Day 3 of Holiday inspiration - angry birds cards
I love making fun Christmas cards! Christmas cards are a super way to get my crafting mojo back. My Gypsy is a great tool to create anything out of paper. Soo, this year I wanted to make some angry birds.
To create this card, I used the following Cricut cartridges - George and Basic Shapes, Christmas Cheer and Smiley Cards. Here is a screen shot of my Gypsy to give you an idea of how I design and cut.
I figured the birds could be knocking down Christmas trees. To make the trees, I just welded them together in a pyramid so I did not need to glue each individual one. I wanted to do the same thing with the eyeballs to make glueing faster as I knew I wanted to make at least 24 of them.
So, that is card design number one for me this year.
Be sure to come back tomorrow to check out card design number two. As of this this moment, I have 35 cards made. I am hoping to churn out another 20, and of course, post them here. *eek*
Thanks for stopping by!

Day 1 - Gift card holder - 12 days of Holiday gifts and ideas
I have been such a slacking blogger lately that I am challenging myself to 12 days of Holiday projects! I can not believe how long it has been since I have posted anything... This is my holiday mojo kick start, if you will, and you are invited along for the ride.
Welcome to day number one!
This is a card/gift card holder.
You pull the ribbon and out comes the gift card.
Now for the deets.
The patterned paper is by Echo Park but it is from last year. I cut the rosette with the Ribbon and Rosettes Cricut cartridge.
Thank you for clicking by. Be sure to come back tomorrow for more holiday inspiration in the form of a layout.

My Second Christmas Card - 2011
That's for popping in. Thank you everyone for posting so many amazing Christmas projects! I have so much inspiration every time I log in to Blogger!
I try and make my Christmas cards in groups of 12. So up to now, I have made a dozen "Winnipeg Jets cards" and a dozen of these.
I love this sentiment from Scrappy Moms stamps. My Santa is from the Jolly Holidays cartridge. The moon is just a circle from George and Basic Shapes. I used a hole punch on some white felt for Santa's pompom and some twine purchased at my LSS for his reins.
One tip with this cut. I de-embossed my Santa beard so that I wouldn't lose any glue space to adhere Santa's tiny face.
