Father's Day BBQ Card

I have seen some fabulous cut files to create a BBQ card for Dad. I wanted to see if I could create my own and make our own barbecue/grill.

Here it is! All cut with Cricut cartridges other than the box card file. The food is from Block Party and the sentiment is from Father's Day. The grill *hee hee* is actually a crib rail from Everyday Paper Dolls. (It is called Paper Dolls for Everyday on my Design Space.) I just sliced off the top and bottom and then sized it to my paper barbecue.

I am entering this card for a Father's Day Challenge at Die Cuttin Divas.

Thanks for stopping in!

Is it really April?

This "spring" is zooming by. Our family has been busy with the kids activities and a week of "spring" break in March. A friend sent me some pictures from her 40th birthday party. I was surprised to see that my card had it's picture taken. lol.

Have a wonderful day!

At the Ball Park

What is a perfect way to spend a Sunday afternoon? It could be cheering on a baseball team. Even better with tickets won by my daughter and her colouring skills. We had a wonderful time with concession goodies included in her prize package.

I think this is the first time I have scrapped anything baseball. I had to even pick up this baseball paper, knowing that I had this pictures.
Have a wonderful day!!

Father's day card

June is a busy card month for me with birthdays, graduations, Father's Day and end of the school year. I'm glad I have started the process with this card.

My new favourite cartridge of the day is Block Party! The "Dad" and barbecue (grill in the US) are cut with it. The font is Old West. The picnic paper is by Momenta but I am assuming it is super old as I bought it at a yard sale. The embossed wood paper is to represent my deck. I used Glossy Accents on the barbecue and the letters to bling it up.

Challenges I am entering this card into :

!. More Than Favors - Manly challenge

2. Fantabulous Cricut - #1 Dad challenge

3. My Creative Time - Throwback Thursday challenge - Lite cart with bling

4. Creative Cutter Room - Father's Day

5. Crazy about Cricut - Man/boy theme

Have a great day!
