The challenge this week at Frosted Designs is to use something from around the home on a layout. I used a shoelace on this layout of my daughter tying her shoes for the first time.
The running shoe is from the Pink Journey cartridge. I cut off the paper laces and added eyelets. I attempted to hand cut a Nike swoosh to match my daughter's shoes. I used glue dots to secure the lace with a nice, neat bow.
This layout is of my son's homemade Plinko game. He decided one day he wanted to make this with a board and some nails. It took him a long time and a little help from his friend to get it complete. The finished game actually works well.
The hammer from this layout is from the Everyday Paper Dolls cartridge. The brads are from the dollar store.
