Happy Valentine's Day

I hope everyone one is having a lovely
day. Do you still have valentines to create today? My kids chose (with Mom's guidance, of course) the quickest valentines to make ever!

Moustaches are all the rage in middle school this year. Did you know that there is a moustache on the Paperdoll Dressup Cricut cartridge? It's one of the creative features for the pirate paper doll. I just thickened it up a bit with my Gypsy so I could pierce it for the lollipop stick.

The lips are from the Indie Art Cricut cartridge - blackout feature.
So quick to make with no layers!

Here is my valentine for the hubs - inspired by Pinterest and by my Girl Guides who hand-stitched felt hearts this week. I hope he doesn't need that page from the atlas...

Happy Valentine's Day!

Monster hoodie layout

Hello All!
It's been busy around my house this February with hockey, my birthday and the flu :(. Thankfully, we are all well at the moment and I was able to scrap a bit!

Does it seem silly to scrap clothing? My daughter and her friends all love these hoodies (bunny hugs if you are from Saskatchewan). They are all animals, creatures or dinosaurs.

I used all papers from the DCWV Great Vacation Stack. My creature is from the Mini Monsters Cricut cartridge.

Have a wonderful day!

Hockey layout

My son's hockey team is winless so far in this hockey season. Last weekend he was named "Hardest Working Player of the Game". I wanted to scrap these photos right away to show him how proud we are of his perseverance (no matter what the scoreboard shows).

I guess I should mention that the award is a white hard hat that the deserving player writes his number on.

I whipped this layout out quick using Craft Room Basics for the first time. It was a nice surprise to see it on my Gypsy after updating yesterday.

I love these little hockey skate brads I bought a few years ago!

Have a great day!
