Vinyl on glasses and bottles

Practice make perfect with adding vinyl onto glassware. I love how this teacher gift turned out but I must confess this is attempt number two.

Attempt number one was on this beautiful water bottle, this super shiny, non-adhering water bottle... Rather than fuss with vinyl types and brands I just purchased an alternate bottle which worked beautifully.

Next up, are wine glasses for a friend.

The best tip I have is to fill your wine glass with water. Use the water line to level and measure your vinyl and then pour the water into the next glass. That way, the glasses will be the same. I often use painter's tape instead of transfer tape.

Cheers!

Dad's Day

Are you looking for a last minute card idea for Father's Day? I personally think that manly cards can be clean and simple. For this card, I used cuts from the Sports Mania Cricut cartridge and Father's Day - Fan Club available with my Cricut Access subscription. There are only seven cuts on this cartridge but I love them all! Both cartridges are perfect for sports fans, male or female.

I was sent these yummy envelope samples from

http://www.paper-garden.ca/categories/envelopes.html

They have an amazing selection of beautiful envelopes (and paper) to complete your card creations! (The Paper Garden is based in British Columbia so no duty for us Canadians.)

Grad shaker card

And the shaker cards keep coming... To create this card I used the slice feature to cut out the shaker window. Initially, my window was too large and I didn't have room for the foam tape. I scrapped that mortarboard and cut it again with a much smaller slice.

Graduations are such happy occasions. I love making cards celebrating this accomplishment!

Unconventional cards

Reason number 3 567 201 I love my Cricut Explore is that I can make special cards for people. I try to make cards for all occasions not just the "happy birthdays". Take for instance, these two different cards. If my brain can design it, my Cricut can cut it out.
