Girl Guides layout
I was asked to help out my daughter's Girl Guide troop, last Monday, so they could make birthday cards. These cards are to donate to Meals on Wheels to give out to their patrons. I thought that before I started making cards with them, I could talk about my love of scrapbooking. To show them an example of projects I like to do, I quickly made a Girl Guide layout for a picture of my daughter at her enrollment ceremony. I tried to capture some aspects of Girl Guides with paper.
I included the Girl Guide Law in my journaling and I took inspiration from their uniform for the colours and design. The stamps are made by The Stamp Barn.
Making the cards was a lot of fun. The girls really enjoyed the dry embossing. Many of them now would like to purchase a Cuttlebug! I think at the end of the night, they had made 40 cards. I know these cards will brighten the day of 40 people!
