Mother's Day Cards over the years

Apparently, my theme for Mother's Day cards is flowers - so many flowers!

I didn't realize that I always used flowers and often the colour yellow until just now!

Winnipeg Jets Playoff Banner

The Winnipeg Jets fans are known for their Whiteout during the playoffs. Therefore, I knew this wasn’t going to the a colourful banner. (Yes, that’s a goal horn on my mantle.) This project was super quick to create!

It has been years since I made a project using print and cut with my Cricut Explore. I even had to calibrate my machine! I am very impressed with the updates to this feature. The registration marks are different and the cut was so precise. I definitely need to use this awesome feature more often. It worked so well to print the whiteout logo rather than try and cut out all the tiny parts.

Winnipeg Jets - Playoff Projects

Our family loves hockey! Our son plays community hockey and my husband coaches. We are also fans of our city's NHL team, the Winnipeg Jets. They have clinched a spot on the 2018 playoffs. Therefore, I have game-watching parties to prepare for. Here are some previously posted ideas.

Easter Peep Card

Making an Easter Peep is super easy. All I did was weld two circles and two ovals in the shape of a the marshmallow treat. Do you have a Peep-loving friend this Easter?

I'm not sure about you, but it seems like it's been a l-o-n-g winter around here. That[s one reason I am very happy to create bright, fun spring cards!

Why not make an Easter shaker card? Every die-cutter has an oval shape.

I seem to have just realized that Easter is coming up quite quickly this year. (Good Friday is March the 30th.)

The pretty eggs and card base are both in Design Space. I just added the sentiment and layers. "Hoppy" is text written with the write feature and a simple thin Crayola marker.

Winter Olympics 2018

Why not use your die-cutting machine to create some olympic decor? Cricut has a digital mini-cartridge called International Winter Sports. Here is a banner I created to decorate our mantel as well as feature our puppy Chloe. Lol.

We are planning to host some olympic viewing parties this week so hopefully I can make more projects!
