Teacher gifts

So close to the end of the school year, yet so much to do in that time. Here are three teacher gifts I have prepped.

To make these gift card holders, I designed a long tag in the Cricut Craftroom and then folded it over to hold a giftcard. My children go to school in French, therefore the "Merci" cut from Create A Critter is perfect.

Teacher Appreciation Week

It is staff appreciation week at my daughter's school. I love making these bulletin boards for the staff to show how much we appreciate their hard work!

I am entering this project at Cooking with Cricut. Their challenge this week is to make a teacher appreciation project with your Cricut.
I had trouble this year thinking of ideas but I did find this title and jungle idea online at Artsy Fartsy Mama.

Most of these wild animals are from The Create A Critter Cricut cartridge. The toucan is from Life is a Beach. The font is Birthday Bash. I picked up large google eyes and tried to make this board fun and bright. (This school is Kindergarten to Grade Four.) I braided jute as my "vines". The paw prints are from Mickey and Friends and they have the name of each school staff member. While I had a desk covered in this paper, I whipped up a matching card for the staff with scraps. Yay!

I hope they like it!

My largest card - 6.5 feet by 3.5 feet.

Staff appreciation week starts tomorrow at DD's school. I snuck in and made this bulletin board so that when the staff arrives in the morning this will greet them. Each of the flowers' stem has the name of a staff member written on it. My children go to French Immersion school, hence the merci banner.



This was the process at home on my (almost the same dimensions) dining room table.. I used many, many cartridges and kicked myself for not borrowing a copy of Walk in my Garden. My little "helpers" were getting impatient making this bulletin board so I neglected adding the leaves to the sunflower stems. Whenever I look at the picture, the flowers look a wee bit naked.
