Day Ten of Christmas Projects - A Winnipeg Card

I love making exactly the type of card I want by using the Design Space app to design my cuts.

If you are not from Winnipeg, this is the Golden Boy who stands at the top of our Manitoba Legislature. He turned 100 last week! I figure our city often looks like a snow globe so this is fitting! I used my laminator again to make the shaker card window with some snowflake confetti.

Day Eight of Christmas Projects - Shaker card

Any ideas where I purchased my shaker shape?

It’s actually the packaging from my Cricut Explore Bluetooth adapter. Hee hee. I gu-estimated the dimensions and made it into a window for my winter snow scene. It had a bit of an edge on it so I glued it really well and it seems to be holding just great. Now I wish a had more packages!

Tomorrow's project is my very first slider card. See you then!

Easter shaker card

I'm not sure about you, but it seems like it's been a l-o-n-g winter around here. That[s one reason I am very happy to create bright, fun spring cards!

Why not make an Easter shaker card? Every die-cutter has an oval shape.

Day Three of Christmas Projects - Snowglobe Shaker Card

I must confess I bought this plastic crafting element about 7 years ago. Talk about using up my stash of supplies! Now I wish I had more because I love how this turned out! This will made a great hand-delivered card for a neighbour.

The snowflake confetti is from Dollartree.

Grad shaker card

And the shaker cards keep coming... To create this card I used the slice feature to cut out the shaker window. Initially, my window was too large and I didn't have room for the foam tape. I scrapped that mortarboard and cut it again with a much smaller slice.

Graduations are such happy occasions. I love making cards celebrating this accomplishment!

Mother's Day shaker card

I just love making shaker cards! I love choosing an image in my Design Space (I have soo many options with my access subscription) slicing it and turning the image into a shaker card.

Thanks for stopping in today!

I have linked this card at Die-Cuttin Divas. They are hosting a Mother's Day/Feminine challenge.

New baby shaker cards

I love making baby cards! I think because they are fun and sweet (as are newborns). The blue card is for my friend's new grandson. Yes, I am in that season of life where my friends' children are getting married and having children.

Do you remember when Costco used to sell huge paper pads? That is where the baby printed paper is from. I held onto these sheets *hoarded* for baby cards.

I created the design for the shaker by using the slice feature on my Design Space for the Cricut Explore.

Day two of Christmas Projects - A shaker card

Hello and welcome! I love this funny sentiment as my neighbours enjoy drinking prosecco.

I confess, I watched a few YouTube videos to figure out how to create a shaker card and I played with the Design Space program to write the sentiment and slice out the champagne glass. I used tiny white beads to look like bubbles instead of sequins.

I think I'm hooked. I need to buy more foam tape!
See you Monday for Day Three of Christmas Projects!
