Winter Olympics 2018
Why not use your die-cutting machine to create some olympic decor? Cricut has a digital mini-cartridge called International Winter Sports. Here is a banner I created to decorate our mantel as well as feature our puppy Chloe. Lol.
We are planning to host some olympic viewing parties this week so hopefully I can make more projects!

Cheesy shape card
It's a cheesy one.
Don't say the envelope didn't warn you....
Pizza cheese that is! Who wouldn't want a pizza shape card?
This card is for a friend in the pizza business.

Puppy's first birthday banner - turned into a layout
I used my Cricut Explore to create a small puppy banner to celebrate Chloe's first birthday. I made it small enough that she couldn't jump up and chew on it AND small enough I could use it to scrapbook the photos!
I love this paper line by Becky Fleck called Cooper and Friends.

Scrappy resolutions for 2018
Happy New Year!
Every January I like to publicly publish my scrapbooking/crafty intentions for the year ahead. I also reflect on the resolutions from the previous year. Did I keep my best intentions or did I fail miserably?
My 2017 Resolutions and Aspirations
#1 - Scrapbook the rest of 2016. I am up to the month of May.
#2 - Share more projects (layouts, cards and cutting files) on my blog and Facebook.
#3 - Play with pocket-style layouts a bit more. I have dabbled a bit in this type of scrapbooking but have found it difficult to fill all the pockets and remember to print the photos the correct way. Practice needed.
I think I did well this year. I did use pocket scrapbooking more and I found it makes for quick work once you get going.
I could still share more projects online though...
Well, here goes...
My 2018 Scrappy Resolutions
#1 - Relax, have fun and create
That's it.

Day Twelve of Christmas Projects - A pocket page puppy layout
Can you say that title 3 times fast?
We just loved having a dog last Christmas. I think this year, the kids are most excited about our gift to the dog!

Day Eleven of Christmas Projects - Christmas Vacation Card
Last year, I cut out this adorable station wagon tag. Doesn't it make you think of the movie Christmas Vacation with Chevy Chase? I labelled it to Clark from Ellen. It was still in with my scrap supplies so I covered the names and created a card. I had to add a movie quote as the sentiment, of course.
Yay for using up scrapbooking supplies!
