All of these sentiment stamps are by Pink by Design

This layout is all done on my Gypsy. I saw a poster with this sentiment on it and immediately thought it would make a great layout. This would be easy to make with many different Cricut cartridges. I used Opposites Attract and Create a Critter.

Canada Day scrappy stuff round-up

I have been looking around this spring to purchase some "Canada" type paper. I love to take pictures of our kids in their red and white clothing. It's a very important day in our family! There does not seem as much around my city this year. I found these at Ms.

There are some cute stamp sets out this year that would be perfect for cards or layouts.

Of course there is the new Go Canada Cricut cartridge.

This cartridge has tons of different cuts for a Canada Day project!

Please be sure to check back here on Canada Day (July 1st) where I will be part of a blog hop *with prizes*. There will be some great projects along the way, I promise.

Graduation centerpieces take - 2

Two years ago, I made these centerpieces for my son's grade four graduation. Now it is time for my daughter to leave for middle school. I tracked them down in storage at the school but realized that they needed some repairs. Of course, I couldn't leave well enough alone and changed them up a bit.

These pots were only 50 cents each to begin with, so I didn't mind purchasing some pencils for an added element as well as some acrylic paint to jazz them up. I recruited my MIL to help with the painting while I re-cut a few school supplies and re-glued a few more. The ruler idea I got from here My Happy Place
I love the new look but can't believe how quickly my children are growing.

At the Ball Park

What is a perfect way to spend a Sunday afternoon? It could be cheering on a baseball team. Even better with tickets won by my daughter and her colouring skills. We had a wonderful time with concession goodies included in her prize package.

I think this is the first time I have scrapped anything baseball. I had to even pick up this baseball paper, knowing that I had this pictures.
Have a wonderful day!!

Happy Father's Day card

I used all Core'dinations paper (Whitewash, Jillibean Soup and Tim Holtz) for this card. I cut out the number one and the stars out of pre-embossed Core Impressions paper with my Cricut machine (not always easy to do). I got the idea for this card when I saw the paper embossed with numbers in a manly colour. The button is from my assortment from the fabric store. The alphas are from my stash from years ago...
I am entering this card at the following Father's Day challenges:

Die Cutting Divas
Celebrate the Occasion
More than Favors
DL Art
Have a wonderful Day!

Let your light shine card

I love this sentiment!

For this card, I used Core'dinations Black Magic paper as my background and sanded out the "light". I hand cut the lampshade and then folded it. The lamp base is actually an oil lamp from the Old West Cricut cartridge. I hid some cuts so it would look electric. The sentiment is from the Country Life cartridge. The alphas are by Authentique.

Mother's Day Cards

Happy Mother's Day to all the Moms out there!

I think I have used every teeny, tiny scrap left of my crop and create kit.
