A friend asked me recently if she thought she could use vinyl on her speed boat. "Would it last in the water?" She wanted to cut out the boat's registration number because they must be displayed in Canada.
This is a photo of an oval cut in Scotchcal 220 vinyl three years ago. This oval, cut in non-permanent vinyl, is on my
POOL! The pool used to have plastic covers but eventually they all broke. The vinyl has lasted longer. Keep in mind, I also live in "Winter-peg", Canada. The vinyl has withstood the elements of nature as well as the "element" of my children splashing in the pool.
