Welcome hoppers! Thank you so much for stopping in! These are my recycled projects featuring Cream City Ribbon. This ribbon is organic and biodegradable. You can check out their website here. All my projects today feature their ribbon.
I have a secret from friends and family. I cut up old Christmas cards - and I have always done this. I save them all every year. I usually cut up the pretty ones to make tags and gift boxes. The base of this card is a cut up card and the glaze on the lightbulbs is actually scraps from my laminator (more recycling).
When you moisten this ribbon, it loosens the glue. You can then play with it and almost place it like it's floss. When the glue dries again it will stay put.
Another card made for my daughter to give away... She loves the Peachy Keen faces.
The Cricut machine makes cutting up cards even easier. I used my Gypsy to help with the placement of the tag cut (So I could get the image I wanted). I added brads, eyelets, stickles, ink and gems to the tags.
I am the last stop on the hop but here is the full list if you missed any of the others.
1. Nikki
2. Mandie
3. Grace
4. Kim
5. Meighen
6. Chris
7. and me.
My blog candy is a Stampin Up stamp set to use with clear blocks. I bought this stamp set thinking it would be perfect for cards. I will also add some Cream City Ribbon to play with.
Please write a comment for an entry and if you are a follower please comment again for a second entry. I will use random.org to chose a winner on Monday morning. Good luck. (CONTEST CLOSED)
Thanks again!
