Happy New Year!!!
Every year around this time, I look back at my scrapbooking resolutions that I publicly posted for the year and write new ones for the upcoming year. Obviously, some years are better than others. This year, I didn't do too bad.
My 2016 Scrappy Resolutions
#1 Finish scrapping 2015.
#2 Create a Christmas 2015 album. I am considering a pocket-style album for this which I have never done before.
#3 Learn the Design Space Android App as soon as it is released.
#4 Take more photos!
#5 Have fun with vinyl. I have been playing a bit with vinyl and would like to try some HTV.
My biggest fail was not learning Design Space for android.
My 2017 Resolutions and Aspirations
#1 - Scrapbook the rest of 2016. I am up to the month of May.
#2 - Share more projects (layouts, cards and cutting files) on my blog and Facebook.
#3 - Play with pocket-style layouts a bit more. I have dabbled a bit in this type of scrapbooking but have found it difficult to fill all the pockets and remember to print the photos the correct way. Practice needed. I still think this is a great way to memory keep.
So, what are your scrapbooking resolutions?

Okay, tell me the truth, can you tell that is a bar of soap? I am hoping you can tell it's a bar of Lifebuoy. It kind of looks like a red hot dog to me.
Thank you so much for stopping in today. I must admit I love making twelve Christmas projects every December and sharing them with all of you! Now that I am done and it's five days until Christmas I should wrap a gift or two...

My sister and her husband have two sweet cats and I have always wanted to make them a cat Christmas card.
It is so easy to design cuts like this using the slice feature on the Cricut Explore. My best piece of advice when slicing is to do that action first before anything else on your Design Space and slice each item one at a time.

I love this free svg that was shared on Facebook. I was excited to put it on a decorative pillow for the holidays. I even drove to IKEA to purchase the pillow and case (GURLI). As I was prepping, I thought to myself, maybe I should use regular 631 Oracal vinyl and then I can remove the quote after Christmas. **this was a dumb idea** I have used this type of vinyl on canvas before...
The vinyl would not adhere to the fabric. This beautiful pillow case will be a very temporary feature in my home.
Here is last year's vinyl project. I had no trouble with it.
I guess you win some, you lose some. Next time I will iron on HTV!

Maybe it's just me but when I saw this card, on my Design Space Access subscription, it really reminded me of the movie Christmas Vacation. I cut out all the layers, even added tires, but the card isn't very big. It's more of a tag. This awesome station wagon from the Cricut cartridge Crazy Cute Cards, would fit better in a business envelope than a card one.
"Is your house on fire Clark? No, Aunt Bethany, those are the Christmas lights."

Welcome! Want to make a quick and easy card design? Use your Design Space and your Cricut Explore to weld two candy canes to form a heart.
So easy! So love-ly and sweet!

This is without a doubt the "strangest" card I have ever created. I like making trendy cards with themes of things people are talking about. If you watched the Netflix series Stranger Things, then you probably understand. Our family loved this series and can't wait for season two. I only made one of these cards for a fellow fan.
The inside reads, "Wishing you JOY this holiday season!"

Good day! I knew I wanted to made a puppy's first Christmas ornament for our 7 month old Chloe. I'm posting this project as she is recovering from her spay surgery on Monday. Poor girl has had a tough week with some side effects.
This ornament only took minutes to make and I love it! You will find me today cuddling our puppy.

Our family still loves our Team Canada mittens so I thought they would be cute on a holiday card.
This card was quick to put together so I think it will be one to mass produce. I used a sentiment that would be appropriate for all even those who do not celebrate Christmas.

Welcome! Today's card is for the girls I work out with regularly. Love them and thought this funny sentiment would be perfect for the zumba ladies.
Merry Fitness and a Happy New Rear!

Hello and welcome! I love this funny sentiment as my neighbours enjoy drinking prosecco.
I confess, I watched a few YouTube videos to figure out how to create a shaker card and I played with the Design Space program to write the sentiment and slice out the champagne glass. I used tiny white beads to look like bubbles instead of sequins.
I think I'm hooked. I need to buy more foam tape!
See you Monday for Day Three of Christmas Projects!

Welcome! I'm so happy to be making cards again this year!
This card is for my children's cousins. They are crazy for Pokemon Go. The card will have their Christmas gift inside.
I also made this Pokemon inspired Christmas card in July when everyone was gag over the app.
Please come back tomorrow. I will share my first ever shaker card. I have seen so many amazing ones posted that I had to try and create one.
